Paulo Backes specializing in documentary photography, landscape, wild & outdoor, flora and travel photography. Based in Brazilian South, he has been working in art, editorial and advertising photography for 20 years. In the last few years he has worked in special editorial projects about trees and natural landscapes and biomes, like Atlantic Rainforest, coastal region of Brazil and Pampa Grassland.

His main themes are nature, fauna and flora, wild flowers, trees, nature, natural gardens, landscaping, geology, agriculture, farm and country. There are around 20,000 pictures indexed with scientific and popular names of geography, rocks, plants and animals.

He has published books about trees and landscapes of Brazil and would be delighted to talk to you about his work.
