An environmental engineer by trade - a photographer by heart, Maciej Tomczak made phototramping his chosen pursuit. Although he nominally lives in British Columbia, Canada, he spends most of his time on travel photography and writing abroad. Recently, Laos became his home base.
Maciej is an experienced photojournalist with interest in daily lives in developing countries. Respectful of journalistic integrity, he believes that live is intricately exciting as it is without having to resort to sensationalism so common in press coverage.
Maciej's photographs and stories have been published in books and magazines. He licences stock image rights for editorial, advertising, corporate and personal use, sells fine art prints and is available for new assignments.
