Derek's photography is varied, a passion for the creative aspect of camera work has driven him to explore the less obvious, this is apparent throughout his abstract collection.

Derek has a solid engineering background and has over 20 years experience of construction sites from offices to billion dollar pharma facilities to petro chem installations.

Currently using a Mamiya 645AFD2 and a Phase 1 P30 for the majority of commissions, this is backed up by a Canon 1D mk2 and 5D with an extensive selection of lenses.
