Steve has been travelling continuously over the past 25yrs, across all continents except Antarctica (something to do before reaching 50?!). Exploits have included driving a VW Kombi around Europe, northern Africa and the Eastern bloc during the 80s but by 1990 the van was ditched in favour of a round-the-world ticket taking in India, South East Asia, Far East, Australia and Canada. Since then Steve has travelled round Central and South America, before settling in Mauritius in 1998 for two years. Now a professional photographer, he has been based on the undeveloped east coast of Sri Lanka since 2004, shuttling between there and the UK, while still indulging his passion for travelling. Steve is currently in the UK.
