Aydin Cetinbostanoglu was born in 1954, Izmir, Turkey.

He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences.

He started his professional career as a photographer in 1973. He won his first award, in the 2nd National Photograpy Contest of IFSAK (Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs Club) in 1976. After university education he began managerial life in government and private sector. In that period he traveled all around Turkey and took photographs for his archive. He exhibited photograps in several cities in Turkey and abroad in mixed exhibitions. He has awards in several photography contests.

He has a photo workshop in Istanbul.
