Photography has been a passion for me for over 20 years, growing up as I did surrounded by the rugged beauty of the West of Cornwall in the UK and constantly immersing myself within the local scenery. The arts were always an integral part of my life, my mother and two of my cousins are full-time professional artists and for me being surrounded by art made my curiosity in the medium of photography bloom.
I achieved an A in A-level photography in half the normal time for that particular course, then I took up teaching the subject, which I still do, my speciality is atmospheric landscape images where the viewer becomes at one with the scene, these images have been used from everything from advertising recycling schemes to yachting manuals. I also work in conjunction with the media.
