| Jason Laure is currently shooting for a revision of his book on South Africa for Grolier Publishing. From his base in Cape Town he covers the enormous and ongoing changes taking place in South Africa since the end of apartheid. He is also available to travel to other points on the continent on assignment. Most recently he did an assignment in Botswana, spending ten days with one of the country's most important nurses who is on the front lines, battling AIDS. | Thaddeus B Kubis's fascination with industry and the impact of industry on the United States has led him to document a series of industrial installations. These installations range from sand and rock factories to the rusted and dying infrastructure of the past industrial age. This image is one of 8 images that focus on a local stone processing plant. "The buildings and the grounds of this location have an almost alien nature to them, giving a feeling that I not them are intruding on the local environment." | Oceanmaid Photography was inspired by the ocean. Hayley has spent the past 6 years leading kayak expeditions, zodiac wildlife excursions and crewing as a naturalist and research assistant on charter boats and diving vessels throughout New Zealand, Baja,Canada and Antarctica - all ocean based and inspired. As well she spent the summer of 1999 completing a solo sea kayak expedition around Vancouver Island. Hayley's guiding career has created an opportunity for her to photograph the naturally wild and wonderful places and wildlife she has experienced.
