Autumn is properly here now in the Northern Hemisphere and many of our photographers have been busy recording the beauty of the season meaning we now have over 11,000 images of autumn. The Christmas season is of course round the corner and we already have over 4,000 festive images to choose from online. Cary Anderson has unique Christmas or winter material on the "Eagle Lady". Every year around Christmas, 80-year old Jean Keene , best known as the "Eagle Lady", begins feeding an enormous gathering of wild eagles; they have flocked to her for 25 years. What started out as just 2 eagles eventually became 200 to 300 of the magnificent birds. Her daily congregation is hard to believe, but well documented. Changing of the seasons can be rather depressing as the nights draw in and the flip flops have to be exchanged for boots for the next six months!
