| Jerry and Marcy Monkman's photo, Dawn on the Androscoggin River, was recently used by the United States Postal Service for the new 72 cent in the Scenic American Landscapes series of stamps. Previously their image, Mount Washington at Dusk, was used for a stamp on the American Wonders page of stamps. The Monkmans, who founded their Portsmouth, NH-based “EcoPhotography” business in 1994, specialize in images of nature, conservation and adventure in the Northeastern US, as well as eastern Canada. It has been a very busy year for Piers Golden with many trips traversing the globe. Piers' Morocco collection goes from strength to strength with a nine day trip on the wild west coast of Morocco, and a trip to the High Atlas and Ait Benhaddou. His Middle-Eastern collection continues to grow with a ten day trip to Oman, which yielded some stunning new images. Piers recently revisited the incredible Turkish Lycian Coastline, with many stops on route to document tombs at Pinara, and the wonderful ruins at Patara.
