Travel writer and photographer Rudolf Abraham recently returned from eastern Turkey, with photos of the Ala Daglar mountains, and a rain-drenched Istanbul. Recent months have also found him in Croatia (on the islands of Korcula and Mljet, in Split, and the mountains of Southern Velebit), Madeira (mountain trails and levada walks), France (Romanesque churches and comic strip art in Charente), and Patagonia (Torres del Paine and Los Glaciares national parks, as well as Buenos Aires).
