Nagy, We are currently preparing an edition of the Conference of the Birds by Attar, illustrated with more than 200 Persian miniature paintings from the end of the 16th to the 19th century. Published in both French and English, the book will offer a new complete verse translation by eminent scholar of Persian poetry, Leili Anvar, of one of the finest example of Sufi poetry in the Persian language. I am writing you today because we need a photographer to organize a photo session at the Cairo National Library (1 miniature selected). We are already in contact with this museum who has accepted to welcome our photographer, would that interest you? If so, we will need to know if you could provide us with transparencies or digital files. Transparencies are better, but we can also work with high resolution files of 300dpi and 40 cm height.
