| Message: | World Cup Stadia Reference I'm the Producer on the 2010 FIFA World Cup video game. With the tournament being in SA this time, we find that we have ten new stadia that need to be created. The initial step of the creation process is to obtain precise photographic reference according to a workbook our art dept have put together. Usually we have a regular photographer for this, but this event has the problem of the geographical distance and the fact that not all the stadia will be completed early enough to do this on one trip as we traditionally make. So I find myself needing to hire someone local who can work to the instructions provided in the workbook, and be available to conduct multiple shoots as and when stadia are completed or close to completion; according to our critical path timeline. We currently have a location team shooting a series of Animal Cops South Africa which follows the work of the Cape of Good Hope SPCA who are based at Grassy Park, Cape Town. The series is for the Discovery channel. We are seeking a stills photographer to shoot a good number of publicity photos of the SPCA investigators in the course of their work and as a set up to the series. I wanted to check out your interest and availability in doing this. We anticipate 2 or 3 days of work ideally between now and the 25th June - not necessarily in a run of days, it could be one day per week for the next three weeks. The location would be at Grassy Park and also potentially around the Western Cape to get the backdrop of the area. | Message: | Dear Mr. White, I work for an ad agency in Denver, Colorado and am looking for a South African-based shooter to create imagery for use in advertising of an unfinished construction project. I will art direct from afar, meaning I will provide a look and feel that you can embellish upon. The campaign includes sites throughout the world, shot by different local photographers. But the look needs to be consistent. What we produce will need to be in color. If you have samples of industrial/architectural subjects in color, I'd love to see them. Here are the basics: * We need you to spend a day covering as many angles and lighting conditions of one of the future world cup soccer stadiums that you will need to gain access to. I know that they are working on the stadium in Durban, but I'm not sure what state it is in. Please include travel costs to Durban from Cape Town. * We need rights for three years for international trade publication advertising (not more than 300,000 circulation) and use on the internet.
