PAYMENT
 
There are two Photographers Direct payment schemes:
 
1) Commission-based
You can pay commission on any pictures you sell through the requests you receive by email. With each request there will be a link to a page where you can upload images for the researcher to view. If they agree to use the picture you will pay Photographers Direct 20 percent of the price agreed.
 
2) Subscription-based
You can pay an annual subscription and will receive all requests by email with the researchers contact details included so you can contact them direct. You pay no commission.
The annual subscription also includes:

- Photographer and Stock Source portfolios
- up to 4 newsletter entries
 
NOTE: While you pay no commission on sales of images through the Picture Search requests, if images are bought as a result of searches of the online database then 20% commission (25% when the sale was a result of a recommendation from another photographer) (+VAT in UK) is still due to Photographers Direct.
 
To switch to subscription, all you need to do is send a cheque for:

All photographs are copyright protected and cannot be used without permission. The digital images on the Photographers Direct company website are available for licensing direct from the professional photographers who have submitted them. If you are interested in buying a picture license you can submit a 'purchase enquiry' by entering your contact details and either quoting your budget or asking the photographer to send you a quote for the use of their stock photos. Your query will be automatically emailed to the photographer and you will also receive an email with the photographer's contact details so you can contact them direct about their images. If you cannot find a photograph that is suitable for your needs on the website, please try our free online stock photography search service. We have photographic professionals for hire for assignments all over the world, so we have a good chance of finding any picture you need.
