Bob Tetro is currently a fine art travel photographer having pursued a hobby interest in photography during a youth and diplomatic career abroad. The international character to his life has left him with a portfolio that includes Afghanistan, Cambodia, Denmark, Estonia, Holland, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Nepal, Norway, Sweden, Thailand and the Continental USA.

He is motivated in a photographic subject by feelings imparted to him even before he is aware an upcoming composition. The resulting image seeks to communicate this mood or atmosphere to the viewer. Upcoming travel will be taking him to Martha’s Vineyard (Massachusetts) and Russia.

He currently shoots with a Nikon D2X camera (native image size at 300 dpi is 2,848 x 4,288 pixels or 24 x 26 cm). Newly acquired Epson 4800 allows prints up to 40 x 60 cm. Panorama images range between 40 x 150 and 230 cm.

New Bokelberg images to become available soon
Werner Bokelberg, the German lifestyle photographer long established in the UK, has just completed his 2006 photo shoot in St Tropez. The shoot attracted a lot of interest, making it onto the cover of the French newspaper Var-Matin on the 28th of June 2006.

This collection will consist of a thousand new images and will become available in September at www.bokelberg.com . Bokelberg works exclusively in ‘lifestyle-themed’ images and the new collection is set in a variety of locations around this theme. These images will be rights managed images only.

STOCKCZECH is a specialist photolibrary featuring images of the Czech Republic taken by Sheila Atter. Whilst many libraries have good coverage of Prague, few can supply photographs of other areas of the country in any depth, and even fewer hold stock covering the industrial, political and commercial life of the country.

This year, images of Brno, capital of Moravia, have been added to Stockczech, as well as coverage of the spa town of Karlovy Vary.

Sheila Atter will be back in the Czech Republic in September and October. As her travel plans are always fairly flexible, contact her for last minute assignments.

Patricia Fenn has lived in Crete for thirteen years and will travel anywhere in Greece for that special image.
She specializes in documenting rural life, local flora and fauna, and the ethnic skills of the Cretan people.

Patricia's portfolio also contains many recent images of Denver, Washington, Nashville and Memphis USA.

For the remainder of 2006 Patricia will be concentrating on the Greek Islands, adding images to her already lively collection of stock photography and always looking for the shot that tells a story.

Next stage of growth for Blue Pearl Photographic

The Norwich,UK-based photography company have been winning more and more prestigious business clients and are celebrating their business growth with the launch of their new website [www.bluepearlphoto.com]

Bolivian-based British photographer James Brunker has recently launched a new website and Image Library. Specialising in the Andean regions of Bolivia, Peru, Argentina and Chile (especially Patagonia), the Magical Andes Photography site contains thousands of stock images from all over these countries which are keyword searchable on-line, as well as images from Panama, Cuba and China. Buyers can create lightboxes to store images for ease of reference.

James is continuously travelling through the Andean region and adding to the Library, so if you are looking for images from the Andes or have any specific requirements for future projects please get in touch!

One of the major motoring events of the year took place recently at Goodwood House in West Sussex. The Festival of Speed brings together an unrivalled selection of cars and motorbikes, from the earliest machines to futuristic prototypes, including current F1 teams. Car and Bike Photo Libraries had 3 of their staff photographers at the Festival and their collected images will shortly be added to the library files. In addition to his prize-winning wildlife photography, Andrew Gransden has a collection of high quality military aviation images of Royal Air Force and allied aircraft. Sales of his Nimrod MR2 Dawn Patrol fine art print have taken off. Famed for its cold war anti-submarine role, this veteran aircraft is finding new roles and tasks around the world. Other images included New Zealand P3 Orion and RAF Sea King and Tornados.

Bryan and Cherry Alexander, the Arctic and Antarctic Specialists have recently added pictures of South Pole Tourism to their website. One of the most isolated places on the globe, it is possible to travel to the South Pole as a tourist from November to January as summer comes to Antarctica. Bryan and Cherry have pictures of this most exclusive of destinations, and the people who go there.

Paul Lawrence, Official Photographer for Chester Race Week 2006, launches his new creative stock photography website.

Chester Race Week is a major sailing event held in Nova Scotia and is the largest fixed keel regatta in Canada.

Specializing in maritime and sailing photography, Paul is now available for custom assignments.

In the next three/four months Norman Childs has assignments in Mexico, Ghana, Mali, Zambia and South Africa, working on industrial, and corporate and social responsiblity issues, for several multi-national corporations.
