EASI-Images/CFW Images are pleased to welcome several NEW photographers to the library this month.

Dawne Fahey is based in Patonga, New South Wales, Australia and will regularly submit material from Australia covering a broad range of interests.

Clive Sanders and Neal Cavalier-Smith have a broad collection of travel images including South-East Asia, South America, Antarctica, Australia and parts of Europe. They will be adding to the library over the coming months.

Edward Parker who joined the library several months ago has images of the first Tropical African logging operation to be given Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approval in the Congo. Ed is also in Turkey this month so if you need any speciic images do get in touch.

Please note they have changed their web and e-mail address to a shorter version, which they hope is easier to remember.

Judah S. Harris is a master storyteller. His photographs, appearing in advertising, editorial, and on the covers of 40 novels, consistently win praises for their distinct composition and exceptionally strong narrative. Along with his color work, Judah has a unique B&W; collection and a perspective that is hard to come by. A New York City-based photojournalist and fine art photographer, Judah travels on assignment for corporate and institutional clients shooting annual reports and magazine stories for editorial clients.

Recent additions to www.rogerghoward.com include further images from Cornwall as well as updates on the already extensive coverage of London, particularly the continuing property developments in the Docklands district of Canary Wharf. The extensive spread of riverside upmarket apartment blocks around the office areas is also well illustrated.

Over a hundred selected images of St Tropez have also been added, as have shipping/commercial/industrial facilities at a number of Mediterranean ports.

This is a broad based library of over 8500 images online that can all be keyword searched. If you produce “wants lists” please email them to Roger for checking against his large offline stock of 35mm and medium format transparencies.

This months selected keyword subject is “business names” – hundreds of images that might be used to support features about some of the major companies (including financial institutions) trading in the UK. These are continuously updated to reflect re-branding etc (eg Curry Digital), so please bookmark the site and check for new images.

The World Religions Photo Library has new stock featuring Hindu Gods, worship and rites of passage including baby naming and the Upanayanam or sacred thread ceremony. They also have coverage of Pope Bendict`s visit to Poland.

Agreement has been reached with www.print-fair.net/worldreligions to market their images for posters and greeting cards. Photographers will cover the autumn religious festivals of Divali, Succot and Eid el Fitr. Editorial commissions should be sent to proprietor Christine Osborne. Stephen Power is an editorial, travel PR and stock photographer based in County Limerick, on the west coast of Ireland. He has over 25 years experience as a published photographer and his work is included several prestigious journals including: The Photography Year Book Annual.

Mike Moore (not the Michigan filmmaker) specializes in fine art, architecture and travel photography. His international portfolio includes work from Bahamas/Caribbean, Canada, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, New Zealand and throughout continental USA (as well as Hawaii and Alaska).

He studied photography at Stanford and the University of California. He's also a registered architect, currently a professor at the Savannah College of Art & Design. He will teach at that college's campus in Provence, France this fall.

World of Stock, the fully independent, customer and photographer friendly online library continues to expand by adding several well established editorial photographers to its lineup, thereby expanding its presence in this area. Now closing in on 80,000 downloadable images, both Royalty Free and Rights Managed, the library continues to grow at a rate of over 1000 new images a week and this is likely to increase going forward. The company is also planning additional changes in the Autumn of 2006 that will further improve and expand their already outstanding level of personalized customer service.

This picture by the Italian photographer Stefano Buonamici shows the roof of the Hotel Diagonal (Barcelona), the best point of view of the new Agbar Tower of Jean Nouvel.

Stefano is based in Barcelona and available for assignments. He also offers a large stock of pictures from all over Spain.

Richard Lord has recently returned from Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya and Uganda. The new additions to his stock library cover wide gamut of themes, such as candid portraits, daily living, work, health,
education and environment. Settings include rural and urban.

These new images are being added to the over 7000 photos from 75 Third World countries which can already be viewed on Richard Lord's website.

His humanistic photography is of special interest to humanitarian assistance agencies, corporate philanthropy programs and textbook publishers.

Travel, adventure, and sport photographer Alexander Nesbitt announces a new collection of images from Mozambique. The same project also produced a great adventure travel story on kiteboarding in South Africa and Mozambique.

Jim and Mary Whitmer announce the complete re-design of their web site that features photo themes for subjective photo research.

Included in the "theme sets" are: Lifestyles/People, Digital Artistry, Photojournalism, Concept Images, Religious/Inspirational, Travel & Culture, Scenics/Nature, Educational, Faces/Moods, Black & White and Extreme Sports.

Please e-mail them for specific photo requests. They also handle custom assignments in their studio or on location. Mary is currently in New Zealand and will have new images available later this month.

Jenn Kennedy launched her new groovy website with sections for her specialties: portraits, music, personalities and lifestyle.

In addition to her editorial and advertising work, she also shoots fine art, which sells in several Los Angeles design stores. Samples of this work are on her site under 'etcetera'.

This work is available as cleared art for commercials as well as home and residential art. Currently Jenn is working on a RUST series and she has included one of the images here. She also does commissioned work via private buyers or designers.

Julie Dermansky is based in NY and CA,USA. She is available for commissioned work worldwide and is working on two personal projects spanning the globe - one on natural history museums around the world, the other on dark tourism; sites of macabre historic significance including genocide sites and memorial museums.

Julie’s natural history images are currently featured at the Everhart Museum of Art and Science in Scranton PA, in a show, "Natural Selections" which is on until Sept. 24.

Julie specializes in still life, editorial travel stories and portraits. Her stock collection features images of former genocide sites and natural history as well as ironic images and travel images. Included are images from Rwanda, South Africa, South East Asia, China, Europe and the USA.

Bioquatic Photo now has many new wildlife and nature photos in stock. This includes some spectacular east-Africa safari images from Tanzania as well as pictures of the unique Datoga and Hadzabe tribes.

New coral reef images and various coral reef invertebrate and fish pictures are also now available. Do check the section of aerial coral reef photos and have a look at the spectacular images of the Great Barrier Reef.

Alf also has many pictures of Norwegian nature and wildlife.

Massimo Dallaglio, a photographer and journalist based in Italy is now available for any travel assignment.

This month sees Europe take on the USA in golf’s Ryder Cup. Here is the famous print of the Great Triumvirate of British Edwardian golfers who ruled the world – one of hundreds of golf pictures, illustrations and cartoons available from the Lordprice Collection.

The Lordprice website allows you to buy prints - but is just a tiny fraction of the collection. If what you want isn't there, just ask - they'll probably have it!
