Boaz Rottem is a photographer and a photojournalist who travels between Asia and Africa, capturing raw and powerful images that accentuate the human aspect of life.

Available for assignments anywhere (with a penchant for 'off-the-beaten-track' type work), Boaz is an experienced world traveller who enjoys documenting the peoples, cultures and nature of the places he visits.

His recent work highlights, amongst others, the Surma tribe (Ethiopia), the Yi and Tibetan minorities (China) and can be viewed in his collection at www.boazimages.com

Future journeys are planned to Rwanda, Congo and Java (Indonesia).

US photographer Tony Schweikle travels back and forth to Italy regularly. Visit his stock files and you will see that diversity is his speciality. For more than 10 years Tony worked as a professional ski photographer and has been published in Powder, Ski and Skiing magazines. From his home on the southern coast of Italy, he can reach many parts of Europe in a few hours. Tony is alailable for any kind of assignment, whether in Europe or from his home base in southwest Colorado.

August sees the launch of a new website for UK based photographer Peter Davey. The site is available at www.peter-davey.com and covers the wide range of services on offer as well as access to his wide marketing network of contacts. Peter shoots stock photos to order as well as fashion, glamour, commercial and industrial photography.

Cindy Strunze, an independent assignment and stock photographer whose work has been published in calendars, travel guides and magazines across Europe has extended her portfolio with hundreds of images from Ireland. Specialising in landscapes and architecture she focuses on Dublin City, the greater Irish East Coast area as well as Co. Galway.

Her vivid and colourful images can be seen at the Peoples Photography 20th Annual Exhibition in Dublin's Stephens Green on August 25th & 26th, 2007.

Cindy is planning to capture the scenery and life on the island of Malta this September and is able to take on further on-the-road assignments.

Mike Spence has updated his website which now contains a direct link to over 1300 of his stock images. An easy to use search engine can be used to search for a wide variety of Rights Managed and Royalty Free Images.

Subjects include Landscapes of Snowdonia, Greek Islands, Still Life, Wildlife and Abstract images.

John Lander is an Asia-Pacific based photographer living near Tokyo, Japan. Originally from San Francisco, he has recently added hundreds of images of Golden Gate Park, San Francisco Bay, Napa and Sonoma and Bodega Bay.

Next month will see John on the Tibet Railway, following the success of his Trans-Siberian and Trans-Mongolian Railway trips. This trip will end up in Beijing, where he will be adding to his already extensive Beijing gallery.

John is available for assignments and his calendar for the next few months is as follows:

Vincent Abbey has recently added a series of figure studies of a young woman with a size-zero figure, ideal for illustrating the ongoing debate about this much sought-after and much-criticised body shape.

He also photographs actors on a regular basis, so, if you have a particular scenario in mind, he has the contacts to create it.

A1Pix Ltd have just launched their new website offering fresh, illustrative stock photography for Rights Managed and Royalty Free images.

AirTeamImages.com the global aviation image library has completely revised and updated it's website. The result has been a refinement of existing features and the incorporation of many new ones. The Traditional dropdown menus have been expanded to allow visitors to browse by "themes" and "topics" as well as aircraft type, operator and location. The new site now has a fully functional lightbox facility where you can create multiple lightboxes using as many or as few images as you like, copy and move images between various lightboxes, and show them to your friends and colleagues via a "user friendly" URL.

Alan Skyrme will be leading a tour into Amazonia during August. Stock images from this trip will be available at the beginning of September.

For 25 years Martyn Chillmaid has supplied most major publishers, both in the UK and abroad, with photo illustrations for school books and educational materials. Science is a particular speciality and his pictures of biology, chemistry and physics appear in many leading textbooks.

Martyn will be heading off to France for a location shoot later this year for a publisher of modern languages.
He's not just a snapper supplying pictures but a collaborator helping to get the best out of a project for his client. Based in Scotland, Darren Craig has recently returned from a 12 month trip around SE Asia, Australasia and Japan. Three months of this trip were spent producing documentary, press and PR images as an Expedition Photographer in Borneo's jungles and remote communities for a respected UK Based youth development charity.

Darren has a large collection of images from his trip, particularly Laos, Myanmar, Japan and New Zealand and would be interested in hearing from anyone with specific picture requests, or who is requiring photography work in a documentary, journalism or NGO type role abroad. He has a particular interest in becoming involved with local communities.

Darren will also be travelling around Scotland climbing, hiking and biking so would be happy to receive specific picture requests.
