The Goodwood Festival of Speed, one of the most prestigious events in the motoring world, took place over the first weekend in July. Several of Car Photo Library's photographers were there to record the event and the pick of their images will soon be displayed on the library website, www.carphoto.co.uk.

Swiss based travel photographer Olaf Protze, who is currently touring South East, Middle and North England has just added 2 more locations to his Summer photo tour and is traveling to Italy from end of July. He will follow the Ligurian Coast across Emilia-Romagna to the Adriatic Sea, taking pictures of about 180 sightseeing spots on the way. Ruben Vicente has just returned to his home town, Lisbon, Portugal.

In the last year and a half he had been living in Barcelona, Spain, where he has built an incredible collection of Barcelona images, some of which are currently being edited.

In the next weeks he will be travelling and photographing around Portugal. If you have any request for imagery, don't hesitate to contact him.

Stuart Silvermore is a photographer based in the Plymouth/South Hams area of Devon and he is keen on all coastal subjects including tall ships, yachts, boats, maritime history and attends nautical events in Devon, Cornwall and France.

The bright colours, marine light and rich maritime heritage of the region inspire Stuart’s style. With a website update soon to be announced, recent additions to the collection include Plymouth, Dartmouth and the French port of Roscoff.

During Summer 2009 he will be covering maritime events and is happy to help with any coast photography requests.

Barry Johnson is travelling to New Hampshire in August and will be happy to take assignments for any requirements particularly in the White Mountains area and on to Quebec Canada. In September a 5 day trip to Torbay area in Devon will be included in this year's itinerary.
Next August 2010 a two week Madiera trip will be open for any needs while he is there.
Recently an assignment at Portmeirion was undertaken and the Managing Director said 'loved the pictures and could have selected many more' Happy to travel anywhere on assignments photographic.

New York City based photographer Jeffrey Apoian introduces a studio lighting workshop.
Jeffrey Apoian has been a professional photographer with a studio in SoHo for many years. His clients include Aveeno, Avon, Clairol, Hugo Boss, Lubriderm & Victoria's Secret. August sees the return of Alan Skyrme to his new studio in Natal in the Northeast of Brazil.

During the past two months he has been in UK, Cyprus and Veneto working on several ongoing projects. Images from these projects will be maqde available in our stock library later in August.

Heidi Laughton shoots advertising and lifestyle photography on location, suitable for outdoor lifestyle brands, such as surfwear, skatewear, young fashion, sunglasses, footwear & headwear, sports action and adventure.

Recent clients include surfing and volleyball professionals, a childrens' t-shirt brand and Keen footwear.

Ian McGirr is travelling to the Scottish Highlands in October (specific dates to be confirmed) to undertake two assignments for local businesses.
Being an enthusiastic hill walker / scrambler, he has decided to mix business with pleasure and extend the time of his stay to take in and photograph the beauty and magnificence of this area.
He has also undertaken the services of two experienced guides to try and capture images of the annual deer rut as well as other wildlife.
