Australian outback photographer, Ian McKenzie, has just returned from photographing an adventure flight over Lake Eyre in a hot air balloon. It is believed to be the first time hot air balloons have flown over Lake Eyre. He has on his website www.excitations-stock.com galleries of stock images from this balloon flight over Australia's largest salt lake. Pictures in these galleries include low level aerial photos of the lake, hot air balloons flying over Lake Eyre and its arid desert-like surrounds.

Alan Skyrme, a specialist in tropical fruit images, will be temporarily out of reach for three weeks from the end of August to mid-September. In this period he will be leading his Real Amazon Experience tour into the Amazon and the Pantanal wetlands of Brazil.

On his return to his studio / Gallery base in Natal he will begin to process the still and video images and place them in his stock sites and libraries. Feel free to contact him for the latest in rainforest images.

Norfolk photographer scoops national qualification.
Norwich based photographer, Julia Holland, owner of all-about-image photography, has been welcomed into the ranks of the Master Photographers Association (MPA) after being awarded a prestigious Licentiate qualification.
Membership of the Association is only open to full time professional photographers, with strict entry requirements.
To gain a Licentiate, photographers must also pass a Diploma in Photographic Practice. The Diploma is a benchmark competence which has been mapped against the National Photo & Imaging Standards.

Eric Jenkins, chairman of the qualifying committee said: “It is a great honour for a photographer to be awarded a qualification and have their work recognised. A Licentiate award demonstrates their competency in their chosen field of photography which reassures members of the public that they are using the services of a qualified photographer.”

Julia is very experienced in all aspects of portrait, event and corporate photography. Her recent corporate work has included 16 images for the current ISS-UK Corporate Responsibility brochure.

Not only Nemo... Massimo Boyer, well-known Italian marine biologist, underwater photographer and writer, has recently started his new website, www.kudalaut.eu

Under continuing upgrade, the website has a wide collection of images of the strangest marine critters, fish, invertebrates, mainly from the Indonesian reefs, all classified by specialists. From the clownfish to the pygmy seahorses and many other strange and poorly known animals, if you need environment and sea-life pictures kudalaut.eu probably has the solution. The author also accepts commissions.

Charlie Harbin has been granted a studio space at the Norcross Gallery and Studio, aka Kudzu Art Zone. The gallery is located at 116 Carlyle St. in beautiful historic downtown Norcross, GA.

Harbin is the first photographer to have studio space in this gallery which has always been reserved for artist painters. He says that "this is an exciting opportunity to be seen by many not expecting a photographer in house and to share photography as fine art with others."

Charlie will be traveling in Colorado in October and would be happy to fulfill any special need you may have for images there. He is the owner of Stop the Clock Photo and shoots commercial, product, event and fine art.

The Africa Image Library is the personal library of Ariadne Van Zandbergen. It provides extensive coverage of the wildlife, cultures, architecture and scenery of Africa. The library is run by the photographer, who has an intimate knowledge of Africa - and her stock - and will deal personally with all requests, no matter how extensive or obscure. Ariadne has an exciting new collection of Mozambique images.

Magdalene Kourti is a photographer based in Greece. She was born in Athens and studied in London for her BA in Fine Art and MA in digital imaging. She was a BBC selected experimental video artist, having her work shown at Trafalgar square cinemas and also an Adobe award winner at the International Digital Art Festival in Australia. She is a featured artist in the publication "Contemporary Art 1974-2004" and as an active WPJA member, a wedding photojournalist. She uses photography as her medium, striving to capture spontaneously the atmosphere and emotion of the events she records, rather than relying on traditional posed images.

Kourti Magdalene is based in Rhodes, Greece but available to cover events all over Greece, Cyprus and the rest of Europe.

Images of the annual rebuilding of the last surviving Inca rope suspension bridge and the Inti Raymi and Qoyllur Riti festivals are just a few of many images from a recent trip to the Cusco area of Peru that have been added to James Brunker's Magical Andes Photography stock library. New images of Bolivia (where James is based) are being added on a continual basis; recent additions include the Bolivian Amazon and salt workers on the Salar de Uyuni.

James is also available for commissions in the Andean region and his website contains thousands of images covering many aspects of life in the Andes.

Estudio Steve Lynch SA de CV is an advertising illustration studio located in the heart of Mexico City. They have been incorporated under Mexican law since 1987 and since that time have been considered one of Mexico's most important producers of images to be used in Mexican and international advertising media.

Julie Fowells is currently editing a collection of photographs focused on gardens.
