Despite the extremely wet conditions on the Canadian Prairies this spring, Dave Reede continues to add to his growing collection of agriculture images. His ever expanding photo library also includes topics such as outdoor recreation, landscapes and roads.

Juliette Mills is an established British photographer who has experienced a strong personal and professional awakening since moving to Dartmoor National Park, UK. As part of Devon Open Studios 2011, she will be exhibiting the beginnings of two interlinked works in progress - about how different cultures experience and treat death and how her own children are celebrating life in its purest form. Exhibition runs 3rd - 18th September 2011 at Bellacouch Barn, Chagford, Devon TQ13 8BW. It will include recent work on the 'Day of the Dead' celebrations in Oaxaca, Mexico, where she studied with Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey. The image shown here 'Sisters' was recently published on the cover of BURN magazine and is for sale.

Erin Singh is a photographer based in North Queensland, Australia. Featured on her website are rights managed digital photos taken of various places in Queensland; including photos of Birds, Farm Animals, Dogs, Cats and Insects. Bird Photography is one of Erin's main passions and she features over 200 digital images of them. Bird species include: Australian Peacock, Kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets, Parrots, Mynah, Curlew, Egrets, European Shag, Pied Shag, Dusky Moorhen, Australian Wood Ducks, Ibis, Pelicans, Seagulls and a Willy Wagtail. Newly arrived at Car Photo Library are hundreds of images from the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed, one of the UK's most prestigious annual automotive events, featuring road, race and rally cars of all ages along with prototype vehicles and a variety of personalities from the world of motoring. Photographer at Sea. Travel photographer and writer Marianne Campolongo is cruising the Baltic this August to add to her stock photo library and is available for assignments. Ports of call: Stockholm, Sweden, Saint Petersburg, Russia, Tallinn, Estonia and Reykjavik and the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. If you need a specific shot, this seasoned photojournalist can deliver. As a freelance writer, she’s also happy to provide you with copy. She plans to spend the late summer and fall photographing coastal New England so watch for new stock photos from the East Coast of the US as well. Spectrum Photofile is please to represent the classic images of Lynn Ball of Canada. Lynn was the first photojournalist for Canadian Press in Ottawa for many years, then graduated to chief photographer of the Ottawa Citizen. During his tenure he covered 2 royal weddings and the papal tour in Canada. Recently he published with his brother, Doug Ball, also a press photographer, "Life on a Press Pass", a wonderful read. Lynn now spends his summers on Newfoundland living and shooting the life around him. As a sabbatical, the brothers drove around the world for 3 years in a 1962 Corvette. Yes, Canadians can be original.

Charlie Harbin, photographer with Stop the Clock Photo has formed a partnership with Cuban American artist Reinaldo Vargas. They have a joint venture in beautiful downtown historic Norcross, GA, a suburb of Atlanta. Their synergies are remarkable.

The new gallery named "Vargas & Harbin Studio Gallery" is located in Norcross, GA. It has been met with very positive reviews including "this is more like Manhattan than Norcross." After 6 weeks of demolition and build-out, that is exactly what they wanted to hear and precisely the reaction they were going for!

The location features a well appointed gallery area as well as working studios for the artists. The studios are open to the public to tour. A gala Grand Opening is scheduled for July 23 from 6-10pm. Wine and light refreshments will be served while patrons are treated to chamber music, some blues music and song by professional talent.

Vargas and Harbin Studio Gallery is participating in Atlanta Celebrates Photography with its exhibition at this venue scheduled for Oct. 1-16. It will showcase 7 professional photographers showing a wide range of genres. See ACP on the web for the gallery's open schedule.
