Robert Mowle has recently been successful in gaining a Highly Commended rating in the “Landscape Photographer of The Year 2012” competition in the category “Your View”.

Robert has been rewarded with participation in an exhibition at The National Theatre, London and the winning picture “Evening Arrival” has been included in the Title book published by AA Publishing.

The Ship was in the river Stour in Essex, England approaching Harwich International Port to dock at Parkeston Quay.

Ludo Kuipers has just revised his two photo websites:

1) WorldPics - Images of the World: http://worldpics.com.au/ with photos from a growing number of countries around the globe, their landscapes, people, culture and history, including the evolution of their National Flags;

2) OzOutback - The REAL Australia: http://ozoutback.com.au/ with photos of Australian landscapes, people, and wildlife, with emphasis on the Outback and Indigenous culture, including videos of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Both sites have thousands of photos taken over a great number of years and all images can be sent as virtual postcards. These are on-going projects.

Papilio has recently launched a new look website with new features:

Will Burwell is travelling to Costa Rica for the month of March. Destinations include San Jose, La Fortuna, Dominica and Cabo Matapalo. A book documenting the adventure is going to be published upon Will's return.

Emily Naff is a travel and fine art photographer. She has recently updated her website to include an extensive collection of stock images available for instant image licensing. Locations include Italy, Brazil, The Netherlands and South Korea.

Emily will be traveling to Paris in March and to Brazil in May/June. Emily is available for up to 2 or 3 day assignments while in Paris. The trip to Brazil will include time in Fortaleza, Jericoacoara and Rio de Janeiro. One week of the trip is still unscheduled and Emily is available for specific assignments during that time.

Do You Need Stunning High Resolution Images of Iceland?

Richard Osbourne has an outstanding collection of super high resolution panoramic images of Iceland - perfect for printing at very large sizes on walls.

All images are suitable for any large print use including very large wallpaper prints up to 3m high. A variety of aspect ratios are available from the standard 2 and 3:1 up to a mammoth 11:1!

After a recent acquisition of photographs of old maps, Luigino Visconti has more than 2,500 reproductions in high resolution from the following authors and cartographers: Ortelius, Braun, Mercator, Blaeu, Coronelli, De Wit, Jansson, Nolin, De L'Isle, Jaillot.

The subjects are taken from their original volumes in Italian museums and include old maps of many countries around the world. If you want to use older maps of continents or countries or islands all over the world, you may well be able to find them in Luigino's fascinating collection.
