I am an experienced professional photographer, multilingual (6 languages, amongst Spanish) and used to travel in foreign countries and difficult situations. I have worked for WWF, Greenpeace and Readers Digest in Borneo and others in Uganda, Eritrea, and travelled through Antarctic, Alaska, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and many more.

He thinks the nicest moment of the day is the twilight zone between sunset or rise and the darkness of the nigth and a lot of his pictures are taken in this short but beautiful period. For over 40 years I'm a travel photographer and built up a huge archive with images taken in Europe, Asia and Africa. Images are sold for books, ads and magazines. Published travelstories in different magazines. Take assignments in the Netherlands and abroad.

My main focus is editorial photography.

I am a photographer for almost 35 years.

In private I am mainly interested in landscapes and try to capture the beauty of it. I love the river- and polderlandscapes the most, this in combination with the beautiful mass of clouds we often have in Holland.

My second love is the countryside in the UK, which is, comparing to some parts in Holland, undamaged, quiet and of an amazing beauty.

As a professional landscape photographer I made more then 15.000 images of the Dutch- and European countryside An online search-engine helps me and you to find any photo I made over the years. A growing part of all these images are available as HiRes scans. A major part of my stock has been made on the 4x5 inch transparency, lately you will see digital panoramas and multi-image stitched photos. It is all landscapes.

Following an assignment from a travel agent to shoot a promotional video, I have been able to travel to Antarctic and Africa many times on photographic and filming expeditions. On these trips I have gained experience in photographing and filming on remote destinations and in extreme conditions.

For my photography work, I have recently begun to focus on/specialize in taking panoramic images and shooting time lapse video. In addition to this, the wildlife photography remains.
