I took part in two annual courses in AFOTMIR (Photography Group in Montcada I Reixac, Spain), in my opinion one of the best groups of photography in Spain. I love to shoot in the cities where I´ve lived (Barcelona and Salamanca in Spain; and Toronto in Canada), but also when I'm able to travel to other places. I currently live and work in the Isle of Man with my wife and child. We are owned by a large number of dogs, horses and ponies,rare breed sheep and a lot of chickens. I love the beautiful countryside, beaches and sunsets the Island has to offer and they make stunning locations for my photography. The Isle of Man is a photographers paradise.

It was living here with all these backdrops that inspired me to take up photography in 2015, and I am mainly self taught and am constantly striving to get the best shots. Some of it has paid off as one or two of my pictures have won an award or two which I am really proud of.

Whilst I do enjoy outdoor photoshoots with children, my passion is undoubtedly animal, and specifically dog and pet photography. There is nothing more challenging than capturing them at their finest, playing in the great outdoors. With a background in freelance press photography and aerial imaging from a fixed wing Piper aircraft, in 2016 I undertook to gain CAA approval to fly unmanned aircraft for the purposes of capturing images.

I am now a CAA approved UAV aerial photographer.I use two DJI Inspire Pro aircraft's, and use them to capture both high quality 16MP images and up to 4K video.

Simply Pictures was recently created by me to fulfil my passion for photography.

Born and bred in Cheshire but now resident in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex my objective is to create images using the subtleties of natural light. After 20 years running my own studio in central London, I have re-located to beautiful North Devon.

I have worked with Ad' agencies, art director and designers in many varied circumstances.

My main background was studio still life and product shots, however I moved into portraiture and location work and used the lighting skills employed in the studio outdoors.

My first love at college was documentary, and strangely after all those years in the studio,
